Rokerscafé The Sting II, Almere - Assignment for NRC

The Sting II is a cosy bar in the city centre of Almere-Haven. A few years ago, owner Jan Pereboom bought the adjacent building in order to expand the fumoir. But after a decision of the Supreme Court, all smoking areas in the Netherlands will be banned immediately from September 2019. This to the great dismay of the regular clientele of the ‘smoker’s bar’.
